I qualified as a veterinary nurse from Abbeydale vetlink in December 2015 and joined Shaw veterinary centre in June 2017.
After qualifying I worked in a busy first opinion mixed practice where I gained a lot of experience in all aspects of nursing, I then joined a large orthopaedic referral centre where I got to learn a lot and see a variety of interesting cases, however I missed getting to know the clients, so jumped at the opportunity of working here! I love working here and I am enjoying getting to know some of the clients.
I grew up locally and have always been surrounded by animals taking up horse riding at a young age and helping on the family dairy farm (which I still love to do when I get a chance!).
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at my local gym, or going on a walk around the countryside. I love the outdoors and go camping often in the warmer months; I am a keen traveller and try to get away at least once a year, although I have to cut down on these as I am saving for a house which I am looking forward to filling with lots of animal.
