I joined the team in November 2021, I enjoy working in a small practice where I can get to know patients and clients personally, I have a particular interest in dog behaviour which Shaw are very passionate about, I am currently completing an Animal Behaviour Diploma which will hopefully be completed in 2023, which I will be able to utilise and develop my skills further at Shaw. 

Working with animals has always been my passion, however I have done a few customer service roles previously before deciding that I needed to pursue my dream of working with animals. I started in the veterinary industry in 2016, since then I have worked in three busy first opinion practices and qualifying as veterinary nurse in 2019 after completing a veterinary nursing diploma while working in practice through Bath College.

I enjoy the variety that veterinary nursing offers, from nurse clinics, anaesthesia and inpatient care. I especially enjoy making my patients feel as comfortable and happy as possible if they have to be hospitalized. 

In my spare time I am kept very busy with my pets, I have guinea pigs, tortoises, cats and dogs at home, most have been rescues through previous practices. I also spend lots of time doing a variety of training with my boxer dog, who is the reason I became interested in dog behaviour and wanted to develop my knowledge to become an animal behaviourist.
