I started volunteering here at Shaw in 2013. This was my first long term veterinary placement, and it enabled me to complete my Animal Nursing Assistant Certificate. This course was great as it allowed me to experience what life as a veterinary nurse would really be like.
Needless to say; I loved all aspects of this challenging but extremely rewarding job; and I was very lucky to be offered a Student Veterinary Nurse position here in 2014. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2016!
I couldn’t have done it without all of the help and support from everyone here at Shaw. It is great to work with a team who are all so dedicated to providing the best care and support to all of our lovely patients and their families.
