Nikita Robinson

I have always wanted to work with animals and decided that Veterinary Nursing was definitely for me after doing some work experience at Shaw Veterinary Centre when I was 16. I was lucky enough to be offered the chance to do my placement year from university at Shaw in 2018 and then continued working here while finishing my course. I graduated from Hartpury University in 2020 and started working as a Registered Veterinary Nurse here at Shaw.

The thing I love most is that the nursing role is so varied, you get to do something different and see different patients every day. Growing up I have had a variety of animals including rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs. I now have two Labradors, Lola and Millie and since working at Shaw, I’ve also taken on two stray kittens called Pebbles and Bertie!

On my time off I enjoy travelling, camping, taking the dogs swimming and going to see my partners band!
